Chongqing Hengtong Bus Co., Ltd. is currently one of the largest, most modern and most comphrhensive bus manufacturers in China. Since established in 1939, Hengtong has been in the leading position of Chinese bus industry for more than 70 years. We produced the first self-designed and made bus of China- ??iefang??type bus in 1950. Hengtong also has been the first one to design and produce alternative fuel buses since 1950s. Now, besides being the top city bus producer of China, Hengtong is also the alternative fuel (mainly in CNG/LNG/Hybrid) bus leader of Asia.
Hengtong?? current production facilities are one of the largest, most modern and most advanced bus production facilities in China. It covers a building area of 180,000 square meters. There are 2,800 employees and more than 500 technical &engineering professionals in various specialties, including over 150 senior and epert-level engineers.
Hengtong also possesses one provincial level automotive research center, one post-doctorate level field research station in alternative fuel vehicle application research institute supported by an excellent team of qqualified technical staff in the fields of the development, testing and manufacturing of passenger vehicles, passenger buses and luxury vans.
Hengtong currently has the most comprehensive products range among the industry in China including City Bus, Coach, Mini bus as well as special propose vehicles; length of the bus from 4.8m to 13.7m, seating capacity from 9 to 80 seats. On top of that we are also leading in the development and manufacturing of bus alternative fuel technology, in collaboration with MNCs like Cummins, Eton, Hitachi, our CNG, LNG, LPG, NG & Diesel and NG hybrid bus are very successful in th market.
