Woven fabrics are made with natural fibers like cotton, ramie, linen, silk or man made fibers, Blend fibers like polyester with rayon, cotton and nylon, or other newly developed fibers, which may be categorized into chemical fabrics.
Construction of each fabric is different based on yarn count, density, and weight in addition to different fibers and weaving machines. Generally, we categorize fabrics in three methods.
1. Woven or knitted
2. Dyed, Yarn-dyed, Jacquard, or printed.
3.Categorizing by Trade Name of the fabrics like twill,canvas,plain,sheeting,jacquard,velvet,corduroy,georgette,crepe etc.
