The Treasure of the China Art - SuXiu.
Suxiu is the needlework by hand and silk filament, She is the long historical handicrafts, born in Suzhou City of 2000 years ago, it was the Chinese warring Dynasty, the whole of China has been divided into some countries, this city was one of their capitals. Suxiu was used for the folks Garment/Bedcover/Cushion, etc... anywhere could beautify their home and themselves.
400 years ago, the China enter into the Ming Dynasty, the SuXiu syncretized the Chinese Traditional Painting Art, founded the upscale SuXiu for enjoyment and collection. Suxiu own more than 100 kinds of Skill, it need the time of the whole life if one smart people want to master all complicated techniques.
The earlier of 19th century, the tasty of Western painting was introjected into the Suxiu, people create the Views Suxiu and the Icon Suxiu. In order to get the most delicate art effect, usually one piece silk filament will be divided into 64 small pieces for hand stitching, Suxiu color are abundant, and the multilayer needlework take us the rich and strong stereoscopic feeling. The work of Jesu was honored the Top Award of Panama-Pacific Ocean International exposition, hold by United Stats America in 1915. Since that time, the SuXiu was treated as one of the states gift for presenting the foreign government frequently. Our works were the Queen of U.K. the President of U.S.A, the King of Saudi Arab, the Chief of H.K, etc...
