Shanghai POVOS Enterprise (Group) Co., Ltd. is a comprehensive high-tech enterprise which centers on development, manufacture and distribution of home electrical appliance. Its main products are rice cooker, induction cooker, humidifier, soybean milk maker, bathroom heater, rangehood and etc. Headquartered in Songjiang District, Shanghai City with an area of 120 thousand square meters, our company has about 1500 employees, total assets 380 million China Yuan. In year 2004, we realized sales revenue 520 million China Yuan. POVOS Group is composed of one parent company and five subsidiary companies. They are Shanghai POVOS Enterprise (Group) Co., Ltd. (parent company), Zhejiang POVOS (Benteng) Electric Appliance Co., Ltd. Wenzhou POVOS (Benteng) Electric Appliance Co., Ltd. Wuhu Yangtze River Refrigeration Economic and Trade Company Co., Ltd. Jiaxing Yangtze River Home Electric Appliance Company Co., Ltd. and Guoli Electric Appliance Manufacture Company Co., Ltd.
There are high talented scientific research staffs in the Technology Research and Development Centre of POVOS. Now we have 21 national patents, and we are going to present 60 new products in year 2005. Our company has passed both ISO9001 Quality Management System Certification and ISO14001 Environment Management System Certification.
POVOS has three production bases with great manufacturing capacity, which locates in Songjiang, City of Shanghai, Wenzhou, Province of Zhejiang and Wuhu, Province of Anhui. The total production area is about 100 thousand square meters. There are modern process lines and perfect Check-out Test-Sets in all bases with the capacity of annually manufacturing 2 million sets of rice cooker, 2 million sets of induction cooker, 500 thousand sets of humidifier, 800 thousand sets of bathroom heater and 200 thousand sets of range hood.
POVOS also has a nation-wide marketing network with well constructed distribution channels. |
