As a company specializing in tire pressure related Catronics, Seetron Inc. developed and commercialized the Electronic Tire inflator and began to create the basic developmental concept for a device which monitors and tire air pressure after recognizing the necessity for a preventative safety device in the 1990.As the discussions on mandatory legislation for TPMS installation began in the United States in November 2000, Seetron started development of TPMS in 2001.
